Elisabetta and Giovanni Foffani lived in the “big world”, in the Milan of a thousand opportunities and busy life. They travelled the world and enjoyed stimulating and challenging professional experiences.

Then they decided to go live in Clauiano di Trivignano Udinese, one of the “Borgo più bello d’Italia” (most beautiful villages in Italy). Here  is  the Foffani’s old family house, and here they produce quality wines from their own vineyards. The peculiarity, and the surprise, when arriving at  the Foffanis, lies in the fact that you would expect to arrive in the countryside.

As a matter of facts you arrive in the center of the village, in the beautiful historic villa overlooking the main square of the village. Here Elisabetta and Giovanni live, welcome guests to the B&B “Casa Antica Mosaici”, entertain visitors in the museum “I Colori del Vino ” and in the small art gallery, show guests their beautiful garden. Always with a good glass of wine in your hand. The winery is part of the same building and the vineyards are located immediately behind the villa, on the edge of the large garden that surrounds the house. The  wines  produced belong to this territory tradition but have been reinterpreted with the imagination and inspiration of Wine maker Giovanni Foffani who produces, for example, an excellent White Merlot, the pride of his winery.
