Between Lazio and Umbria, in the Province of Viterbo,
along the course of the Tiber River there is an Organic farm
that has a long history.
“We only press organic” this is Ciucci’s motto.
Antonio and Federica Ciucci inherited, from their family, the desire to do well and to “make it organic”. The farm extends for over 400 hectares in the province of Viterbo, on the border between Lazio and Umbria and, in the center of this natural paradise, the vineyards and olive groves find a perfectly preserved environment, protected from any contamination.
Here, with the passionate contribution of Simone Carrino, a young, strongly motivated Winemaker who finds his specialization in organic farming and natural wines, the Ciucci farm produces wines with the goal of making them resemble, in taste, naturalness and purity this beautiful land.
Cultivated vines are mostly indigenous: Sangiovese, Violone (a local version of Montepulciano grape), Malvasia with a touch of flair given by Vermentino and the power of international vines such as Merlot.
